The whole weekend has been wonderful. Today is father's day, and even though Rylan isn't born yet, I already know Josh is going to be an amazing father. He is the best step dad to William that I ever could have asked for. I wanted to make this day special for him, so I had lots planned. It started off with a big breakfast, he loves that because he usually works weekends so he misses out on those a lot! After dropping off William to his Dad's house, Josh and I headed home to relax (which included me taking a nap! lol ). Early evening I surprised Josh by taking him to his very favorite restaurant, Claim Jumper. I've never been there, but omg, it was good! We had steak, lobster, ribs and roasted chicken. There was so much food, I swear I'm in a food coma now!
On a different note, I definitely got sunburned in more places yesterday! OUCH! No matter how much sun screen I used, it never fails that I get burnt to a crisp. It hurts to wear a bra :( It's not as bad as last years burn, but still hurts.
Hope all the fathers out there had a wonderful day! I sure wish my Daddy could've joined us today :( I uber miss him on days like today.

It's only Saturday and it has been a wonderful weekend so far! Josh got home a night early from AT so we got to see him last night. Up early this morning for an 830 baseball game for William. It was hot as heck, but so much fun. The game was GREAT, even though they lost by 1 :( It lasted 7 innings and 3 hours! Got a lot of sun while I was there and the baby was quite active. Deb & Deborah both got to feel him kick a lot.
After the game had lunch with lil man and did some grocery shopping. Headed home to get ready for an afternoon by the pool. His friend Corey came over, and the unit actually released the soldiers early today so Josh was able to join us. Rylan loved it when I was in the water. He was kickin like CRAZY! Water was cool, perfect after being in the sun :)
It's 5:00 now, and we're all showered and chilling. Doing some laundry and cooking some yummy stuffed pork chops. Can't wait till Father's Day tomorrow, I got a HUGE surprised planned for Josh ; ) Even though William is going to his Dad's for a few hours tomorrow, we will be having a big breakfast in the morning :)
Hope everyone's weekend is just as enjoyable as ours has been!
(Except for the sunburn on ONE ear...definitely NOT enjoyable! lol)

I will actually have the time to do this!!
Between work and Williams sports and trying to find an iota of energy during this pregnancy, I find myself with very little time. Sometimes I wonder how the baby is going to fit into all of this once he comes?? Scared? Yes. It's been almost 12 years since I've had a baby. Blessed? Absolutely :) We definitely couldn't be happier even if we don't have the slightest clue as to how this is all going to work out.
I'm hoping that with this blog I can keep family and friends connected to our lives. The way I see it, is I can keep everyone posted, then I don't have to repeat the same thing 50 times on the telephone! haha
As of right now, we're just taking everything day by day. When baby Rylan gets here, we will cross all the bridges that need to be crossed at that time. I have faith that things will fall into place, so I refuse to stress about it. I am a firm believer of everything happens for a reason, and I don't believe that God would throw anything at us that we couldn't handle. Things will all work out.
Good night everyone! Must get sleep while I still can!! haha
